Done, Done and DONE!

Just a few odds & ends here and there to clean up, but, for the most part, it's all done! King Street Construction (720 838 8235) for ALL CONSTRUCTION NEEDS PEOPLE!!! Call Christopher today.

In other news, I sold my friggin MTB this weekend! I am so happy. Granted, I let it go for soooo cheap, but, hell, it's cold cash in my pocket, and, can pretty much finish off the dark cloud of debt that's been haunting me for years. I'm so relieved.

Friday night we unfortunately had to see our friends Rita & Chas off to their new home of Whitefish, MT. We're very excited for them, but, of course, very sad because they're moving ~15hrs away. *sniff*. The party was at the Denver Press Club, and, was super fun!

Saturday, we woke up at the crack of dawn to start painting. We both had plans to do stuff that day, so, we turboed it out!! In all of the confusion and disorganization, I couldn't find ANY of my cold weather gear for my ride. Subsequently, I froze my ass off and only lasted 1hr with Nick. Yikes! The rest of the day was spent trying to figure out how to get our cable to our other room with Christopher, and, trying to figure out where we should go to dinner. We decided on Chada Thai. People...EAT HERE. Grandma is in the kitchen cooking (serious), and, the son is the waiter/busser/etc. The food is so authentic and delish, it's ridiculous.

Sunday was a complete bust for riding, and, I really hadn't planned on it either. Given the weather (oh...about 4 degrees...with yucky snow),I was rather happy to finish up the work on the house that we needed to do. We stimulated the economy, the only way we know how, by shopping at Target, Scandanavian Designs, and a whole host of other furnishing stores. In the end, we have some stuff arriving mid-week which is great, and, some stuff to arrive later on. That night, I used the new stove to cook some soup, gnocchi, and some winter stuffed squash. Delish!!!

Enjoy the week people.
