Engine Down!!!

So...today was teh start of the Rocky Mountain Omnium. It's a 3 day series of races that is sure to be super tough. Today was the Upper Bear Creek Time Trial. It was a tough one. I tried to keep it tranquillo for the first 5 minutes, but gave it my all. I wouldn't say I blew up, but then again, you could. Speaking of engines blowing up, on the way to the race today, my car engine blew up.

Picture 1 is the hole in the engine block, while Picture 2 is the little chunk of metal that I found floating around in the engine. Super lucky that Mongo was right behind me and we were able to throw my bike on his roof and the rest of my shit in the car. I can't thank him & JD enough for taking the racks off my car and throwing them onto his, and then piling me & Floyd along with ALL of our shit. It was a riot!
