Well, the tape on the SRM *kinda* worked. Now, I have to practice staying on course in a crazy ass crosswind. I was sent practically into the dirt, gutter, and standing sludge water 3 times because of the tri-spoke up front. I'm thinking I'll use a shallower wheel in cross winds. It's so hard to control. Ok, so I went off of effort. Up through the hill (about 10-12 mins) my avg power was GRREAT. Higher than it felt, and, didn't really hurt. It was a tailwind out, but coming back

fugghetaboutit. It was a nasty head/crosswind until through the trees. After that, it became a tailwind. I spun out a few times on the course, but overall things went better than last week. I had NOTHING to think about, just going harder. Not seeing that number tick tick ticking off was great. I know everyone deals with the wind, but it's really throwing my game off. I think I just need 1 good one and things will be fine. I find it hard to get into a rhythm when you are having to reach for the brake to make sure you don't eat the pavement. Sometimes, I even have to stop pedalling and grab the horns with both hands to stay on the road. LAME!
When I came home, there was more proof that Amy is the greatest girlfriend on the planet. I already believe and know this, but, she made

Tempeh Reubens for dinner with sweet potato fries served along side. This is one of her specialties, and they exceeded expectations by LEAPS AND BOUNDS. She is the greatest!!

I hope that ketchup doesn't have any high fructose corn syrup.
