Well last night's LT work/pracitce on the TT bike went really well. Only problem is my SRM sensor was not working properly. Rather than let it piss me off and distract me, I decided to use the force like Luke did when he blew up the Death Star. Basically, I've done 2x12's in the past, sans aero gear, and hit a certain physcical marker pretty much dead on each time on the CCTT course. I eclipsed the first marker by about 10 seconds which was cool. The second one was a bit tough considering there was a massive head/cross/tail wind swirling around me as I headed back, but, still just about hit it on a normal day. I was foaming at the mouth and in pretty good burn, so, I think I was definitely higher than some intervals I did about 2 or so weeks ago of the same effort level. Next Wednesday will be a good test, as it's the first CCTT. The weather is going to be iffy, as it traditionally is at the CCTT. Joy!Who cares though. Everyone deals with it...except Mike Carter of course. He has some sort of cloaking device.
I got home and stripped all the SRM gear off of the TT frame and basically started from scratch. Works better now, and I could get a zero offset, whereas, I couldn't last night.
I got an MRI this morning on my back. I'll find out what is up on Monday morning. Last night though I felt better which is a good sign. The MRI was loud even with my earplugs, but, I found that the noises it made were like some wierd break-beat sorta noises...almost like a Roni Size song. I jammed out!
